Born and raised in Western Australia, Dr Matt Yoon loves taking care of peoples smiles in his local community. Dr Yoon has worked in both rural and metropolitan areas in WA and NSW during which he gained ample experience in wisdom teeth removal and precision crown and bridge procedures under the guidance of extremely skilled mentors. While he enjoys all aspects of dentistry, his greatest areas of interest are in implant dentistry, crowns and bridges, and the gentle removal of wisdom teeth. To keep up to date with the latest developments in protocols he regularly attends reputable continuing education courses and is an active member of numerous dental study clubs. Although he has a relaxed and easy-going personality, Dr Yoon is passionate about performing his work to the highest standards. With the motto, “Every job is a self-portrait of the person who does it, autograph your work with excellence” it’s no surprise that even Dr Yoon’s dental colleagues and clinical staff regularly ask him to treat their own teeth. When he is not seeing patients, he is most often seen in his office reviewing his work and looking for ways to improve it even further.

Outside of dentistry, Dr Yoon loves to spend time with family and friends. He also claims that he is a pretty good basketball player, ten pin bowler and a board game nerd. He has recently taken up golf as his newest sporting challenge and spends a good part of his weekends being terrible at it.

Greg was born in Sydney, Australia, but spent most of his earlier years moving around Australia, Malaysia and the Philippines due to his father’s work. His family eventually settled down in Perth in the late 90’s, and Greg proceeded to graduate from Christ Church Grammar School and subsequently complete his Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of Western Australia in 2010.

Since graduation, Greg has been very interested in the area of restorative Dentistry, and enjoys keeping up with the changes to materials, techniques, technology and software in modern dental practice. He also likes the variety that comes with general dentistry, and continues to attend seminars and courses to advance his learning and experience in every field.

Greg places great importance on being able to communicate with his patients, and also being upfront and honest about any information that is being discussed. He also is of the mindset that any work should be done once and done properly.

Outside of dentistry, Greg enjoys keeping active with sports such as Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and basketball, and tries to find time to embrace new technology whether it’s through PC or console games, using virtual reality devices like the Oculus Rift, or just spending too much time at JB Hi-Fi in general (to his wife Jen’s dismay).

Simon was born and grew up in the UK, and trained and graduated from King’s College London in the “Guy’s Hospital” campus.

Having moved around various parts of the UK during his childhood, Simon continued to travel frequently after graduation - he practised Dentistry in Nairobi, Kenya, for 7 years followed by a couple of years in Trinidad & Tobago before ending up buying his first dental practice back in the UK in the city of Nottingham.

After moving to Australia in the 80’s, Simon did a stint with the Princess Margaret Hospital working with the school Dental service before purchasing a practice in Applecross. Simon made the move to Booragoon in the late 90’s, and continues to practice at number 178 under what has now become known as Riseley Street Dental.

Simon’s main interest in his line of work is the ever-evolving field of Preventive Dentistry, and he takes pride in seeing families as they work together towards becoming happy and healthy patients.

Outside of work, Simon enjoys sports such as golf, sailing and tennis. He lives with his wife Kelly and their bearded collie Fuzzdog, along with their collection of poultry including various chicken, geese and ducks.
