THE FASTEST METHOD
Philips Zoom Teeth Whitening
Phillips Zoom Whitening allows us to whiten your teeth for as much as 8 shades in just one visit
The process starts with protecting the gums and lips so that only the teeth are exposed during the procedure. A bleaching gel is applied and a special light is used to speed up the whitening process. The results are beautifully white teeth.
Teeth Whitening is specific to those who have stained or discoloured teeth, as it effectively improves the colour of one’s teeth. Some of the most common causes of stained teeth are from dietary habits such as caffeine, red wine, and sugar or from smoking or taking specific medication. Teeth Whitening can be extremely effective; however, it is up to your dentist to decide whether it is a suitable option for you.
There are two different types of dental treatment options available for Teeth Whitening. At home, or in chair. The in-chair procedure normally takes around 90 minutes and involves your dentist using a whitening solution and proprietary blue wavelength light to improve the shade of your teeth. The solution is a strong bleaching gel and requires an experienced and qualified dentist to conduct the treatment.
The at home treatment is an alternative way to whiten your teeth without sitting in a dental chair. Your dentist will provide a take home kit of clear teeth trays covered in whitening gel. This is a safe and effective way to brighten your smile in the comfort of your home. Usually we will issue one of these home kits as standard following an In-chair procedure to allow our patients to “touch up” the shade of their teeth throughout the ensuing months and years after the initial appointment.
After any Teeth Whitening procedure, it is important that you follow up with your dentist to discuss the outcome of your treatment. It is also important to note that once your teeth have been whitened to your satisfaction, changing the foods and drinks you consume will maintain the brightness of your smile and keep It looking clean. i.e. less or different forms of caffeine and ideally eliminating smoking.
