Technology.

During your consultation at Riseley Street Dental in Perth, you will be informed about how Invisalign can work for you including your treatment options, longevity and cost.

Our 3D computer will take images of your mouth, which then gets imported into new industry software. This will create a graphic illustrating the movements and force, required to create your smile. The software will also ensure that teeth are moved at the right time and in the right order. Your dentist will contribute to the design of each customised plastic aligner to create a series of instalments. Each instalment is worn approximately for two weeks or as advised by your dentist and will be replaced by the next aligner once the period has ended. Each aligner is designed for different stages of your journey and will smoothly move your teeth towards the end position.

Treatment period.

The treatment period of Invisalign can vary from 6 to 15 months depending on the intricacy of an individual’s case. By strictly following your Invisalign treatment, your transformation journey can be relatively quick. To help optimise your results it is advised that your aligners are worn for 22 hrs of the day, preferably only taking them out to clean, drink fluids other than water and to eat.
